My Favorite Summer Trend

My favorite summer trend right now is polka dots! I am polka dot obsessed and I’m not afraid to admit it. Patterns are a fun way to be playful with your wardrobe, but honestly polka dots almost seem like a neutral to me.

Jumpsuits are the easiest way to look put together without putting a lot of effort into getting ready. This jumpsuit feels like pajamas, yet looks adorable. You won’t believe how many compliments I’ve received wearing this. I wore it on my birthday and paired it with black heels to dress it up, and then I wore it again and put on a black lieutenant hat and loafers to make it casual. This is from a small and new boutique called SUGARHIGH that has a ton of cute and playful stuff. I’ve linked the link to this jumpsuit for you guys to shop it! I am wearing a size small, but I could have probably gotten a medium. It is a steal at only 20 dollars! Below I am also linking some my favorite polka dot jumpsuits right now.

Pajama shirts are another big trend right now. They can be super cute paired with jeans and shorts for summer. I am in love with this polka dot shirt from SUGARHIGH. The white pipping on it makes it look much more expensive and unique. I wore this shirt with my favorite jeans from Madewell and my platform converse that I’ll be wearing all summer. This is the perfect outfit for grabbing coffee with friends or just running around town. I am wearing a size small in the shirt and a 25 in the jeans. For Madewell jeans, I suggest buying a size that feels a little bit tighter because they will stretch. I’m going to link some of my favorite “pajama” styled shirts.

Denim skirts are such a staple for summer. I found this super cute polka dot skirt at & Other Stories. Unfortunately it sold out so quickly that I can’t link it for you guys, but I will keep you posted if there is a restock! Graphic tees are fun way to spice up your outfit, so I paired this polka dot skirt with a red and white “Honey” baseball tee from SUGARHIGH. I also wore my faorite shoe right now, my platform converse! I am wearing a size small in the shirt and a 4 in the skirt. I am going to link some of my favorite polka dot skirts for you guys to shop!

Just like jumpsuits, rompers are the easiest way to look cute but still be super comfy. This jumpsuit is from Topshop and fits the polka dot trend and the pajama shirt trend. I love the 50’s vibe that this jumpsuit is giving off with the antique white and big black polka dots. I’m wearing my cat eye sunglasses from Nordstrom and my white loafers that are on sale right now at Target. These loafers are a steal and everyone asks where I got them. I am wearing a size 4 in this playsuit. I’m going to link some fun polka dot rompers that you can wear all summer long.

Do you know of the sunglasses are still available and what they’re called?

Hey! I got them at Nordstrom in the BP section. I couldn’t find them online anymore but they may still be in the stores! I know urban outfitters has a similar style for around the same price
