It’s Sweater Season!

Fall is in full effect and it’s sweater season! Even though Los Angeles has still been pretty warm, I’ve gone a little sweater crazy anyway. I am heading to the east coast this weekend for Amanda’s (my sister’s) bridal shower!!! And then staying through thanksgiving. I have 10 full days to wear all of my favorite fall, cold-weather trends. I’ll be posting some of my cozy outfits throughout the week, but for now I wanted to share some of my favorite sweaters.

These two sweaters are from Target’s Wild Fable brand. It is so cozy and warm enough for the colder weather (especially when layered) but with the crop fit makes it also great for the LA winter. I paired these both with some of my favorite pants. I paired the blue sweater with a pair of Carmar jeans that I got on sale at LF (a boutique in Los Angeles). The relaxed boyfriend fit and color of the jeans tied together with sweater almost perfectly. And to finish out the casual relaxed outfit I put on my air force 1 Nike sneakers. This is the perfect outfit to hang with friends and start your holiday shopping!

This next outfit is actually what I am going to wear on Thanksgiving. I am obsessed with monochromatic outfits so when I matched these two together I was stoked at how well it worked. If you’ve read my blog for a little bit now, you know I am obsessed with Madewell, especially their pants. These wide leg velvet maroon pants make me even more obsessed. I had to size down from my normal Madewell jean size and the fit is incredible. They make me feel so funky while being comfortable. The sweater is a pretty close match to the color and the slight shine to the color makes the monochromatic scheme work. The scrunchie in my hair is from Free People. And if you haven’t tried the scrunchie trend yet, you are missing out. Being a dancer, I am constantly in a ponytail, and it causes a ton of breakage in my hair. So, when I am off duty from dancing, my hair needs a break. With these scrunchies it’s an easy way to give my hair the break it needs from normal hair ties. Plus, it is so cute. I’m obsessed. I’m still unsure on what shoes to wear with this outfit (as you can see from my bare feet) but I will probably just throw on my Dr. Martens!

P.S. Don’t mind my messy room in these pics. I’ve been so busy this fall I’ve had no time to go out and take fun pictures. I really wanted to post this so I figured a good old mirror selfie never hurt anybody 🙂 Also, who can guess what show I’m watching on my laptop?!
